Parts Design
Metal Plaque - A metal plaque in the same form of the end piece of the Feeny hinge is attached to the tips of the temple. This is done to add a little extra weight at the end of the frame to balance out the weight of the lenses and keep the eyewear stable when in use.
Hinge - The hinge works as a simple pivot which is fixed to a piece of metal. That piece of metal in turn is fixed to the outer structure of the end piece. The key difference is that the whole mechanism is exposed, sharing the same likeness as a futuristic mechanism.
